School Improvement: 8 Week Project
Here at West Lynn Primary School, we are always wanting to improve to allow our pupils to shine. To ensure the school is always improving, we embark on 8 week projects. These 8 week projects are designed to give a sharp, clear focus to those aspects of our work, which we believe are in need of improvement. Our 8 week projects enable the school’s vision to be shared and understood by the whole school community. Our aim is to work together and to learn together as a community in order to improve and be the best that we can be.
The focus of our 8 week project this term is vocabulary. We are aiming to raise the profile of vocabulary across the school to enable children to develop the depth and breadth of vocabulary used in their writing. During the 8 week project, vocabulary enriched environments will be set up, a wide range of activities used both in school and at home, and the children will have an enriching learning experience through workshops with Sir Linkalot (22nd Feb 2018).
